Vasilisa Kuzmina is from Moscow. Her work — like her acclaimed film Nika — leans poetic, emotionally charged, and visually rich.
Matthew Genecov grew up in Texas and cut his teeth in Los Angeles, bringing a maximalist, high-intensity style to storytelling that’s bold, cinematic, and a little unruly in the best way.
One of us comes from the East, the other from the South. One’s fluent in subtlety, the other speaks in spectacle. And somehow, when we meet in the middle, the magic happens.
